JACOB DENNER (1681-1735)

 

En Nuremberg se desarrolló la principal escuela de constructores de instrumentos de viento de madera, y la familia DENNER fue una de las más destacas y reconocidas en esta actividad.

 

JACOB DENNER era constructor de flautas, oboes y fagotes.

Fue el hijo mayor de Johann Christoph Denner quien inventó el clarinete como modificación del chalumeau, instrumento folclórico de lengüeta de  alrededor del año 1700.

 

La flauta original de Jacob Denner es una de las pocas flautas que han llegado completas y en muy buenas condiciones hasta nuestros días.

Se encuentra en el Germanisches Nationalmuseum de Nüremberg (Nuremberg c. 1715).

Por su excelente sonido y calidad permite abarcar diferentes repertorios, Bach, Telemann, Mattheson, Vivaldi, Handel.

JACOB DENNER (1681-1735)

The main school of woodwind instruments builders was developed in Nuremburg, and the DENNER family was one of the most outstanding and recognized participants in the activity there.

JACOB DENNER was a flute, oboe, and bassoon builder.

He was the eldest son of Johann Christoph Denner, who invented the clarinet as a modification of the chalumeau, a folk instrument that uses a reed, around 1700.

Jacob Denner’s original flute is one of the few that have survived intact and in very good condition.
 

It is in the Germanisches Nationalmuseum in Nuremberg (Nuremberg c. 1715).

Its excellent sound quality makes it a wonderful choice for different repertoires, including  that of Bach, Telemann, Mattheson, Vivaldi and Handel.
